The problem
B2B merchants manage tax-exemption certificates over email and spreadsheets, manually tag customers as tax-exempt in Shopify, and have no system to track certificate expiry or flag renewals.
What we built
A storefront app proxy gives wholesale buyers a secure upload page for their certificates. The embedded admin panel shows pending uploads, lets merchants approve or reject each one, and syncs tax-exempt status straight to the Shopify customer record. Expiry alerts flag certificates before they lapse.
