Impact: Critical
Shopify creates duplicate URLs when a product is accessed through a collection (e.g., /collections/shirts/products/blue-shirt vs /products/blue-shirt). Ensure your theme includes a <link rel="canonical"> tag pointing to the clean /products/ URL to prevent duplicate content penalties.

Rich snippets in Google require valid structured data. Test your product URL in the Rich Results Test tool. Ensure price, availability, and reviews are present without errors. Avoid running multiple review apps that output conflicting schema.

Check the Search engine listing preview at the bottom of the Shopify product admin. The title should be under 60 characters and the description under 160 characters. Avoid keyword stuffing; write for click-through rate.

Every product page should have exactly one <h1> tag, which is the product title. Open devtools and run document.querySelectorAll('h1'). If there are multiple, edit your theme code to downgrade secondary headers to <h2> or <h3>.
